Fullstack Job: Software Engineer

PURPOSE:

KML Windows Inc., a division of Andersen Corporation, is currently seeking a Software Engineer. This is a full-time position responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing business application solutions in a full-stack role using a variety of development tools and technologies. The scope of the applications will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise wide and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of applications

· Work closely with business analysts and business customers to understand, define and document business requirements, functional requirements and design requirements

· Work closely with process owners in the design phase to leverage technology to support business process improvements

· Accurately estimate the design, development, testing and deployment of the application

· Completes comprehensive unit and system testing of application, its components and interfaces

· Support and maintain applications from a customer and technology perspective

· Support other application developers on technical issues and assisting with their development efforts

· Research and develop skills in new technologies

· Successfully provide direction and oversight to contracted external development vendors

· Provide technical and user application documentation

· Provide user training as required

· Participate in full Agile/Scrum process

· Participate in On-Call support rotation cycle

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

· Minimum of 3 years of development experience with a variety of development languages and platforms in a full-stack role

· Experience with database technologies including SQL and Oracle

· Familiarity with some or all of the following: C# .NET, VB.Net, classic ASP, VB Script, HTML, CSS, Pick Basic, Autolisp, UniVerse

· Experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

· Familiarity and application of SDLC and Agile/Scrum development methodologies

· Strong problem-solving skills and able to generate creative solutions

· Strong focus on customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Positive attitude, determined, and resilient

· Familiarity with MVVM framework (optional)

Salary: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
